ARTISZEN CULTURAL ARTS CENTER IS HAVING A 3 IN 1 EVENT THIS FRIDAY!

Greetings Artiszen Cultural Arts Center Community!
We are all still blown away by the success of our Evocare Photography Show that has been going on since March 15th! We would like to THANK EVERYONE who came to the launch and those who continue to stop by to see the exhibit. There has been so much positive feedback from the community about the amazing artists and their work. We have lots of exciting shows coming up that are going to be just as spectacular!
And now that we have shown what we can do as a gallery space, we would like to expand into the next phase of our work as a Cultural Arts Center which is going out into the community and teaching art to our local youth and giving them a place to gather, create, and exhibit their work in an all inclusive, safe, youth friendly space.
But we need help from folks like you to keep the "Art of Community" going at Artiszen CAC. We would like to put a call out to any artists, musicians, teachers, mentors, folks who have knowledge about non-profits, handy-men/women, or just plain kindhearted people who would like to be a part of our collective. If you would like to be a part of the excitement that is happening in downtown Vallejo, please come by and see us!
This Friday Artiszen CAC is having a 3 in 1 event, so it's the perfect time to come visit!!
It's the last day of our Evocare Photography Show! We will be having a raffle, some prizes include: photography by Dan Chase, Sari Blum, and Jim Hedrickson; a CoolPix Digital Camera; an original painting by our very own Verlannia Manchester and more...
It's our monthly Gallery 11:11 Event! So we will be open from 11am to 11pm with all the evening time entertainment and community gathering that you're used to but with a few surprises thrown in! Bring a dish to share if you feel so inspired.
It's also Downtown Vallejo's 2nd Friday Art Walk so all the artist studios will be open. Come out and enjoy all that the Downtown Vallejo Arts and Entertainment district has to offer!

Please join the cultural event happening April 11, 2nd Friday Vallejo Art Walk and visit my gallery, open 5 to 10pm @ 700 Marin st., [williamsievertstudio.com].

Vallejo People's Garden volunteer Sarah Stroup gave away many bags of beautiful fresh kale from her own home garden to other volunteers at Sunday's potluck. If you haven't tried it yet, KALE CRUNCH is our favorite kale recipe of the month.  It's quick, easy, and delicious! It would be great recipe for kids. We follow Mollie Katzen's recipe, [link].
